Tripod Vanguard VS-82

The VS-82 is an ultra-compact, lightweight and handy tabletop tripod capable of carrying loads up to 2.5kg in its small size. Thus, it can be used to mount medium-sized spotting scopes, mirrorless cameras and lightweight DSLRs.

The tripod has telescopic legs and a retractable center column, so it can be adjusted in height from 20 to 28.5 cm. The 2D head rotates freely in the horizontal plane and allows for significant up and down tilt. For reliable fastening of cameras and pipes, a spring-loaded clamp is provided on the head.

Alu 6063-T5. The weight of a tripod and the stability of a tripod are among its most important features. Aluminum based alloys are the best material for tripods in terms of strength, light weight and optimal cost. The telescopic tripod sections do not have high requirements for strength and load, but it is important to obtain an ideal profile with a smooth surface and high anodizing suitability. Aluminum alloy Alu 6063-T5 (AL-Mg-Si) belongs to medium strength alloys, but it is lighter, has better corrosion resistance, forms ideal shapes by extrusion and is most suitable for applying durable protective coatings by anodizing, unlike other popular aluminum alloys.
