With over 150 years of experience in the manufacturing of outdoor gear, Ferrino does not stop there, continuing to set even higher standards for outdoor gear. To this end, in 1994, a special high-mountain laboratory was built to test products in real conditions. For decades, the company has been cooperating with outstanding climbers (such as Reinhold Messner), explorers, speleologists who, using Ferrino products, conquered all the highest points of the planet, crossed 20,000 km of Antarctica on foot at extremely low temperatures down to -70 dС, descended for 80 minutes in the very bowels of the earth, to the Cueva de los Cristales cave, where at a temperature of +58dС and 100% humidity, a person, even in special equipment, could not previously stay for more than 20 minutes. Ferrino is rightfully proud of its achievements and ensures the quality and functionality of its products at the highest level.

RECCO ® (advanced resque technology) is an avalanche rescue system used by mountain rescue services in more than eight hundred winter resorts around the world, and the number of such resorts is increasing every year. RECCO ® technology allows you to quickly determine the exact location of the victim using harmonic radar. The system consists of 2 parts: RECCO ® detectors, which are used by organized rescue teams, and RECCO ® reflectors, which are built into equipment, shoes or clothing. When searching, the detector produces and fixes the signal reflected from the reflector. The detection system works at a distance of up to 200 m in the air and up to 30 m under the snow. The advantage of this system is that the reflector does not require maintenance, turn on / off or other actions in the event of an accident, does not need power and has an unlimited service life. Ice-axe holders (2) - holders for ice axes are placed at the top and bottom of the facade of a climbing backpack and, as a rule, are a combination of lower long loops or reinforced cords and upper elastic cords with a lock or small ties on a velcro textile fastener. Such holders allow you to securely fix the ice axes and not load the interior of the backpack with them. If necessary, holders can also be used to attach trekking poles. This backpack has two pairs of ice ax mounts combined with trekking pole mounts. Trekking poles holders (2) - holders for trekking poles are placed at the top and bottom of the front of the trekking backpack and, as a rule, are a combination of lower loops and upper elastic cords with a lock. Less commonly, the lower loops are replaced by the same tie cords. Such holders allow you to securely fix trekking poles and not load the interior of the backpack with them. This backpack has two pairs of trekking pole mounts combined with ice ax mounts. Rain cover - a protective rain cover is able to protect the backpack from getting wet during snow or rain. such covers provide water resistance at a pressure of 10,000 m of water column. The cover covers the front and all side parts of the backpack and reliably protects against moisture penetration around the perimeter. The cover is hidden in a special pocket at the bottom of the backpack and, if necessary, can be removed completely. Compatible H2O Bag - This backpack is compatible and can be equipped with Ferrino's proprietary 1, 2, or 3 liter hydration system, or any other appropriate capacity hydration system. The backpack has the necessary compartment to accommodate the drinking system, as well as all the necessary holes and clips for fixing the drinking pipe. Removable Straps - The backpack comes with two long straps ending in three-slot Duraflex® plastic straps. Slings are used to attach equipment such as snowboards, downhill or cross-country skis, and snowshoes. The slings can be fixed on specially designed loops or straps of the backpack, as well as on any other backpack straps of a suitable width. Gear Straps - slings on fasteks for attaching such additional equipment as a tent, awning, self-inflating or polyurethane foam tourist mat. Placed at the bottom of the backpack so as not to hinder movement while walking. If necessary, these slings can be used as compression straps for tightening the lower part of the backpack. Side Compression - the side compression straps of the backpack can be used to attach equipment such as a camping mat, tent or trekking poles to the sides of the backpack, which is very important when the interior space of the backpack is already occupied. Also, compression straps can be used for their intended purpose to tighten and reduce the external volume of a packed backpack. Bottom Access - A zippered front entry at the bottom of the backpack gives access to the contents of the bottom compartment of the backpack, separated from the main compartment. The front entrance can also be used to access the main compartment of the backpack, provided that the partition between the compartments is open. The lower compartment with front entry is convenient to use for storing things such as a sleeping bag, shoes, etc.Materials:
- Polyester 210D HD invisible Ripstop PU is a fairly lightweight polyester fabric with a thread thickness of 210D and a high weave density. The fabric has an Invisible Ripstop structure, which makes it highly wear-resistant and tear-resistant. Does not break down under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. PU impregnation makes the fabric waterproof.
- Supertex® is a modern material with a 600D thread thickness and PU coating, which, due to its strength and water resistance, is widely used for car awnings, pool covers, tents, athletic mats, etc. After application of a load, the material retains its original shape without tearing and stretching, excellent cleaned, does not fade from moisture and does not fade in the sun.
- Hypalon® - chlorosulfonated polyethylene. Durable material patented by DuPont. It features exceptional resistance to abrasion, tearing, scratching, UV radiation, low and high temperatures. It is used in backpack structural elements, which are most often subject to stretching and are constantly in use.
- Duraflex hardware is an American company National Molding Corporation, the largest manufacturer of plastic accessories under the Duraflex brand, which is a benchmark for outdoor equipment. Plastic fittings are made of durable polyamide 6.6, developed by Dupont. Products withstand significant mechanical and thermal loads and are practically eternal.
