In such cases, Gabel Cilaos Lite is an ideal option for inexpensive and light sticks that have a significant margin of strength and are able to cope with such loads. The telescoping sections are made from anodized aircraft aluminum with an increased diameter, and are equipped with carbide tips, so it's easy to be sure that these poles will last for years.

With a maximum height of 142 cm and snow rings included, these poles can also be used for winter hiking and skiing if needed. The telescopic system provides compact dimensions when folded when the poles are not in use.

ALU 6061 T6 - Rod sections are made of aluminum alloy ALU6061-T6 (Al-Mg-Si-Cu), the tensile strength of which is 2750 kgc/cm2 (270 MPa). This alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance, low weight and processability. Having similar characteristics, it is widely used in the aircraft, automotive and sports industries. Sticks made of ALU 6061 T6 , in real conditions of use, are almost in no way inferior to samples made of stronger alloys, but they are much cheaper.

Basket Change - moving with sticks on loose ground or snow will be much more effective when using special trekking or snow rings of different diameters and configurations. These sticks support the possibility of changing rings. Thus, there is no need to buy separate sticks for each season. It is enough to equip the sticks with the necessary rings and feel confident on any terrain and in any weather.

Carbide - pole tips play the most important role: sharp and strong, Gabel tips guarantee a reliable grip on any type of terrain. All Gabel trekking poles are equipped with the highest quality Widia (tungsten carbide) carbide tips of Swiss origin.

Lite Locking System - the new collet locking system of sections is definitely the lightest in the Gabel product line, but the LLS system still has two collets, and accordingly two clamping contours, which increases the reliability of fixation. This clamp withstands an axial load of more than 80 kg, while for trekking poles and Nordic walking poles, an axial load resistance of 50 kg is more than sufficient for reliable operation.

Soft - the handles of trekking poles are made of soft and comfortable EVA-foam material. This material perfectly absorbs excess moisture from the palm, provides the necessary grip with the palm or glove, is warm to the touch and hypoallergenic.
