Requirements for the quality of drinking water in Ukraine (GOST, SANPIN, WHO)
Water in Ukraine really meets DSTU. But they try not to mention that this document dates back to 1982. As well as about the existence of SanPiN (sanitary rules and regulations) of 1997, which were never used by the country's sanitary and epidemiological services. Why?
Currently, as in Soviet times, water is controlled by 28 components. While in the USA it is tested for more than a hundred parameters. However, the number of chemical compounds that are produced every year by the chemical industry and, accordingly, enter the rivers, is hundreds of times greater.
