Binoculars Athlon Talos G2 HD 10x42 are exclusively and officially sold only on Amazon and on the Ukrainian market. At first glance, it may seem that the Athlon Talos G2 HD is not much different from the younger model Athlon Neos G2 HD. However, the difference is significant and lies in the features of the optical system. In addition to the improved illuminating coating of the low-dispersion HD lenses, the Athlon Talos G2 HD 10x42 has a larger diameter of the eyepieces and a larger size of the prisms, which significantly affects the comfort of observation. The ends of all lenses must be blackened, which additionally prevents light scattering. The focusing drum has a large diameter and a tight rubber knurling, which makes the focusing process more clear and convenient. And with all this, the Athlon Talos G2 HD binoculars are the most compact and lightest of all the manufacturer's full-size binoculars.

The case is reliably protected from moisture even if the binoculars are accidentally dropped into water. Blowing with nitrogen guarantees the absence of fogging in the event of a sudden change in temperature, and prevents internal corrosion.

Each Athlon Talos G2 HD 10x42 binocular has a serial number, which allows for better assurance of the quality control process.

HD Glass . Low-dispersion HD glasses are used in the lenses of this binocular, which largely distinguishes this model among binoculars with achromatic lenses made of ordinary glass. HD glasses provide a smaller angle of dispersion of the light spectrum, thanks to which it is possible to reduce chromatic aberration (color distortion), and achieve a clearer and more contrasting image transmission.

Advanced Fully Multi-Coated . These binoculars have improved full multi-illumination optics, which means that every surface of the optical system is coated with a broadband multi-layer illuminant coating. Such multi-layer illumination largely prevents the reflection of light in the entire visible spectrum. By doing this, it is possible to achieve more than 99% light transmission through each optical surface, which results in high image brightness, natural color rendering and the ability to conduct observations more effectively at dusk.

BAK4 . In order to get rid of significant light losses in the rotating prism system, this model uses high-density optical glass prisms BAK4 (barite crown). This glass has a higher refractive index, which allows you to minimize light loss and obtain a perfectly round exit pupil with an equally bright image from edge to edge, avoiding vignetting (the visible darkening of the image due to the truncation of the light beam at the periphery of the exit pupil).

Waterproof. Regardless of whether you got caught in a heavy downpour or accidentally dropped the binoculars into a body of water, the level of protection of this model allows you to be sure that moisture will not get inside and nothing will happen to the binoculars. After all, these binoculars are hermetically sealed, sealed with rubber O-rings, and have a moisture protection class of IPX7, which means resistance to moisture ingress when submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Fogproof (Nitrogen Purged) . This model is completely protected from internal fogging due to sudden temperature changes. The body of the binoculars is blown from the inside with nitrogen, which excludes the possibility of finding oxygen or water vapor inside the binoculars, which could condense on the glass or cause corrosion of the metal parts of the body. Nitrogen is a semi-inert gas and does not react with the environment under normal conditions, unlike oxygen.
