10" FCCBKDF2 Activated Carbon Cartridge Softening Charge and KDF Backfill
Installation after the CSSP-FCPS or CSWP-FCPP series cartridge is recommended. FCCBKDF20BB cartridges with activated granular bituminous carbon and KDF®-55 loading have bacteriostatic properties. They create a chain microstructure that generates an electric field and prevents the development of bacteria. Moreover, oxidation and reduction reactions reduce the concentration of iron, tin, arsenic and cadmium. KDF®-55 eliminates hydrogen sulfide and free chlorine. The FCCBKDF20BB cartridge can only be used for drinking water treatment. It should not be installed directly on the pipe - this results in a significant drop in water pressure. To avoid clogging the cartridge with mechanical particles such as silt and rust, we strongly recommend installing mechanical pre-filters (FCPS or FCPP series). Recommended enclosures: FH20BB1
